45am-4:

Assembler Responsibilities Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills including ability to promptly give and follow directions when working with others Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed Determine quality of parts and materials used in assembly and shipping Assemble products by examining routing instructions, manufacturing drawings, part list (bill of material) and identifying proper tools and materials required Experience using calipers, tape measure, and basic hand tools Gather preassembled containers, wooden containers, or cardboard together Prepare items for shipment.
May include removing parts from paint racks, pulling finished goods from stock, etc.
Attach shipping labels on packed pallets or cartons; identify shipping information on goods Place items into containers using fillers, spacers, and protective padding Properly clock in and out of each job processed via data collection hardware (Start time and stop time).
Physically sign off on job routers once work has been completed for applicable work center.
Maintain clean and safe working environment Flexible and dependable.
Able to switch work areas instantly if needed Track individual and/or company (KPIs) / metrics.
Strive for daily improvements Other duties as assigned Assembler Requirements Experience in using crimping tools and wiring up electrical.
Must be good mechanically using hand tools, able to trouble shoot and able to move to other areas.
Ability to interpret manufacturing blueprints / drawings / layouts Must be able to effectively solve problems and troubleshoot Flexible and adaptable to change jobs and material as needed to keep jobs flowing Environmental Conditions Exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Humidity level in factory may be elevated during summer months This position requires continual use of your hands, considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
This position requires long periods of standing.
The use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, steel toed shoes, gloves, and hearing protection is utilized daily This position requires lifting and maneuvering 50 lbs.
