General Sales Manager

As one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.   Job Responsibilities:   Monitor and improve company market shares and overall sales performance.  Review WITS (World Industrial Truck Statistics) performance, sales coverage, market awareness, pricing strategies, market plans, and forecasting with Regional Sales Managers and Distributor Sales Managers.     Monitor Special Pricing Allowance (SPA's) and improve profit margins for company products.  Work in collaboration with US / Canada General Sales Managers to ensure alignment. Provide direction and input to the  RSM to achieve  goals.  Lead the development of the RSM skills in areas such as coaching, sales strategies, time management, personnel development, conducting sales meetings, and product training.  Manage inside sales relationships with US and Munich sales departments. Responsible for managing timely communication for contract renewals, semi-annual sales performance letters, Summit Awards performance, WITS performance. Manage inventory pipeline. Manage the development, organization and execution of four-month, Latin American (LatAm) team meetings.  Support the Director with development, organization and execution of scheduled LatAm distributor meetings. Lead LatAm sales team through the implementation of new sales communication tools, I.E The Link, 360 for Sales, SOLD Map etc.. Manage translationprocesses as required. Assist and provide guidance to Regional Sales Managers in planning account strategy, reviewing pricing structure, assessing position, identifying and monitoring progress and next steps with potential and existing accounts. Lead the Regional Sales Managers, work closely with distributor sales management to assist with the growth of company products, and monitor new equipment stocking levels to ensure that company products are readily available for sales and rental opportunities.  Educate dealer management on company product value and how to compete effectively.  Work closely with all management areas of the dealer and the company Aftermarket Service and Parts Managers, to ensure customers are experiencing a high level of support. Provide market position input to corporate on issues regarding pricing, financialmerchandising, warranty, competitor pressures, and other general market information.  Assist with input to corporate for product development.  Maintain current working knowledge of competitor products. May participate in various meetings at corporate where input or information sharing is relevant.  Assist in arranging and developing agenda for multi-retailer sales meetings.  Participate in factory visits with customers and prospects.  Assist in developing sales quotas for budgets, provide and monitor RSM call reports, and perform other duties as assigned.   Job Qualifications:  8-15 years' related experience Must have valid driving privileges Extensive travel (over 20%) Extensive overnight stays (over 20%) Bachelordegree and ten years of industry sales experience.  Have demonstrated successful sales experience, excellent communication, presentation, and problem solving skills as well as strong leadership qualities. Fluent with Spanish reading, writing and speech.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
