Job Responsibilities:
Provide engineering expertise to the design and development of new or improved drive train systems and chassis components for lift trucks. Job is multi-faceted and includes a broad range of work from detailed drivetrain design to larger truck/chassis structure layouts. Work under close supervision for instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions.
Development Planning - Propose drivetrain or chassis component definitions or specifications to meet a given set of guidelines. Recommend plans for development, testing, and review. Organize project details and manage project deliverables. Utilize tasklists, schedules, quality plans, supplier evaluations, etc.
Development and Evaluation - Introduce alternate drive train and chassis concepts to meet definitions or specifications. Document these concepts in order to be presented for critical review and support of decision making process. Perform appropriate analysis of proposed gear drive and components, including gears, bearings, shafts, housings, steering assemblies, and frame structures for variety of expected operating conditions. Ensure that the performance goals are met and that the integrity of the design is maintained and conforms to the Company and industry standards. Design specific testing as required to evaluate design integrity and performance and review and evaluate test results. Properly document the design and adequately communicate this information to others (project engineers, group leaders, managers) for critical review and decision making.
Other Tasks - Recommend, develop and implement design tools when necessary. Support other functional groups such as purchasing, manufacturing, service, quality, and product engineering when warranted. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
0-2 years of experience in mechanical design as described above
Good written communication, verbal communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Must have valid driving privileges
Ability to travel occasionally with overnight stays (0-5%)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
