Job Responsibilities:

Crown s Compliance Engineer position allows you to engineer and design using safety standards and general principles for design with a focus on risk assessment and risk reduction. Your role as a key contributor to draft industry safety standards affects all future Crown product designs and defends Crown s current designs. This position requires participation at safety standard committee meetings domestically and internationally. This role is for a self-motivated individual who can effectively collaborate with Crown s Global Compliance and Engineering Departments.

You must become well versed in powered industrial truck design, use, and applications. Technically you must become experienced in utilizing Baan and Crown 360 (SAP), and you must become an advanced MS Excel user.

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 4 or more years of mechanical design experience
  • Familiarity with powered industrial trucks strongly preferred
  • Good written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills including SAP and MS Excel
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays for safety standard meetings
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
