Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within an embedded software system development team to analyze product level requirements and system architecture to create suitable test plans for new product features. Act as technical lead during the development of extended functional and system testing to verify and validate that systems and software satisfy requirements.

  • Responsible for walking new product features through each phase of the development process, to ensure the testability of new features is sufficient to maintain a high level of software quality.

  • Verify testing results demonstrate compliance to industry standards which are relevant to the product system design.

  • Analyze the software development and test process to determine areas in need of improvement by establishing applicable process metrics.

  • Provide technical support to other groups within the company.

  • Support general laboratory operations. Supervise installation, operation and maintenance of specialized test systems and laboratory facilities as assigned.

  • Coordinate activities at the work group level, provide technical expertise and detail during project planning, and assist the Group Leader with creation of project schedules.

  • When assigned, provide supervision at the task level to assigned technical staff. Provide support in area of expertise as required to lab or project staff.

  • Review progress with supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned to include infrastructure projects, budgetary inputs, and procedural documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years related experience

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Vehicle Systems Engineering, or Associate degree with 6+ years specifically related experience

  • Working knowledge of C, C++, Simulink, Python, Hardware in Loop System development, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Tools (IBM Rational, Atlassian, et al) preferred but not required

  • Good verbal and written communication, organizational skills, relevant math, computer, and analytical skills

  • Valid driving privileges

  • Ability to occasionally travel and overnight stays (0 to 5%)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
